IP crime investigations are conducted by the National Unit for Special Crime (National Enhed for Særlig Kriminalitet- NSK), which investigates the most complex economic crime, organised crime and cybercrime. There is no specialised unit to investigate IP crimes.

The National Unit for Special Crime (National Enhed for Særlig Kriminalitet- NSK) has jurisdiction to prosecute IP crimes. The Unit specialises exclusively on complex economic crime, organised crime and cybercrime, but no specialised unit exists to prosecute exclusively IP crimes.
