Statement on behalf of Mr Lukáš Starý, National Member for the Czech Republic, on the occasion of the start of the Czech EU Presidency

Today, the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union comes to an end. The last six months have proved to be a particularly eventful period in the history of Eurojust and international judicial cooperation.

Margarita Šniutytė-Daugėlienė, National Member for Lithuania, was elected Eurojust Vice-President on 28 June 2022. Ms Šniutytė-Daugėlienė has been representing the Lithuanian judiciary at Eurojust since 2019 and will serve a mandate of four years with immediate effect.
