International drug network dismantled: 24 arrests and EUR 3 million seized

A five-year investigation involving decrypted messages, phone interceptions and controlled deliveries has resulted in the arrest of 24 members of an international drug trafficking network. The group, which is based in Albania and Italy, is suspected of having trafficked over 1 300 kg of cocaine directly from South America through northern European ports to Italy.
