Today, H.E. Dr Heidemaria Gürer, Ambassador of Austria to the Netherlands, paid a courtesy visit to Eurojust. The Ambassador was welcomed by Ms Gabriela Hornbeck, National Member for Austria at Eurojust, and met with members of the Austrian Desk. The Ambassador then had a meeting with Ms Michèle Coninsx, President of Eurojust. Dr Gürer was accompanied by Ms Katharina Kofler, Legal Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy.

Among the topics on the agenda of today’s visit were operational work and the upcoming Austrian EU Presidency.
Dr Heidemaria Gürer has had a long and varied diplomatic career, serving in Belgrade, Prague, Helsinki, the Southern Caucasus, Ankara, and now The Hague, as well as in the Austrian Foreign Ministry. She is also Representative to the OPCW.
