As part of a two-day visit to The Hague, Ms Catherine Champrenault, Prosecutor General of the Paris Court of Appeal, visited Eurojust on 5 July.
The Prosecutor General and her delegation met with Mr Frédéric Baab, National Member for France at Eurojust, and the entire French Desk. They received presentations on the role of the French Desk in combating terrorism, and the role of Eurojust in combating illegal immigrant smuggling. The Prosecutor General and her delegation also met with the President of Eurojust, Ms Michèle Coninsx, to discuss Eurojust’s activities and in particular the fight against terrorism.
The delegation was composed of Mr Charbonnier, Advocate General, Ms Rudloff, Advocate General, and Ms Larroque, Specialised Assistant.
Ms Champrenault’s career as a prosecutor started in 1981. She was appointed Prosecutor General of the Paris Court of Appeal in August 2015.
