Yesterday, H.E. Mr Stephan Husy, Ambassador-at-Large for International Counter-Terrorism, Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, visited Eurojust to discuss Switzerland’s counter-terrorism policies and casework with Eurojust. He was welcomed by Ms Maria Schnebli, Liaison Magistrate for Switzerland at Eurojust. He attended a meeting with Ms Michèle Coninsx, President of Eurojust, and Ms Schnebli. During the meeting, the Ambassador was given insight into the counter-terrorism work of Eurojust. Ambassador Husy was accompanied by Mr Hervé-Pascal Bogdanski, diplomat with the Swiss Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Husy took office as the Swiss Coordinator for international counter-terrorism in March 2014. He is responsible for developing and implementing Switzerland’s counter-terrorism foreign policy, coordinating efforts to foster counter-terrorism cooperation with foreign governments, international organisations and the private sector. Ambassador Husy is also Chair of the Swiss Inter-ministerial Group on Counter-Terrorism.
