Today, H.E. Mrs Andrea Gustović-Ercegovac, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, paid a courtesy visit to Eurojust. Ambassador Gustović-Ercegovac took up her post in November 2015. She was welcomed by Mr Josip Čule, National Member for Croatia. The Ambassador then met with Ms Michèle Coninsx, President of Eurojust. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Davor Ljubanovic, Counsellor at the Croatian Embassy.
From July 2013, the date of entry of Croatia into the European Union, until the present, the Croatian National Desk at Eurojust has registered 50 cases, and has been involved in 139 cases as requested country. The most frequently encountered crime type in Croatian casework is corruption, followed by drug trafficking and crimes against life, limb or personal freedom.
