French Interior Minister visits Eurojust


​During a one-day visit to the Netherlands, Mr Bernard Cazeneuve, the Interior Minister of France, today visited Eurojust in The Hague. The purpose of the visit was to gain an insight into the work and objectives of Eurojust and its cooperation with Europol and the Member States. To do so, Mr Cazeneuve held a meeting with the President of Eurojust, Ms Michèle Coninsx, and the National Member for France, Mr Frédéric Baab.


Following the meeting, Mr Cazeneuve met the staff of the French National Desk at Eurojust and the Head of the JITs Network, Mr Vincent Jamin.

Mr Cazeneuve was accompanied by a delegation that included Mr Laurent Pic, the Ambassador of France to the Netherlands, Ms Mireille Ballestrazzi, Central Director of the Judicial Police and President of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), and Général Simon-Pierre Baradel, Director of the Judicial Police of the Gendarmerie Nationale.

Opportunities to meet the authorities of the Member States are welcomed by Eurojust.
