Eurojust is hosting a strategic meeting on cybercrime on 19 and 20 November at Eurojust’s premises in The Hague.
The strategic meeting will gather experts in the field of cybercrime from 28 Member States, Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) and the Council of Europe, who will discuss obstacles and best practice in investigating and prosecuting cybercrime cases.
A further objective of the meeting is illustrating the added value of Eurojust in the fight against cybercrime and the assistance it can provide to the Member States and other stakeholders in facilitating judicial cooperation and coordination of investigations and prosecutions.
Among the topics on the agenda are:
- admissibility of e-evidence
- trans-border access to data
- data retention
