In 2018, Eurojust will be implementing online submission of JITs funding applications using a dedicated tool, the JITs Funding Portal.
The Portal will eventually replace the former PDF funding application procedure. The information you provide, the validations and the expense ceilings remain the same as in the PDF application. The Portal will provide improved guidance in the application process and a swifter procedure for uploading supporting documents.
National authorities already involved in financial assistance to JITs or considering applying are encouraged to register by accessing the JITs Funding Portal as from 8 January 2018.
To facilitate the transition for practitioners, Eurojust will still accept PDF applications until call 5 of 2018 (for more details, see calendar 2018). As from call 6, however, only applications submitted via the Portal will be accepted.
If you encounter technical difficulties, you can seek assistance by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Based on the first feedback received, Eurojust may undertake minor changes to streamline the application process. For the latest information, please regularly consult the Eurojust website.
We sincerely hope that this new instrument will facilitate your applications to Eurojust for financial assistance.
